African Police Officer Hit, Killed at Roadblock

Lukas Elifas (37) from Oikango village in Oshana Region, who is accused of having hit and killed a female Police officer Albertina Uugwanga with his taxi appeared in the Oshakati Magistrate Court yesterday on charges of murder and attempted murder. Elifas ignored Police signs at the Oshiko roadblock early Sunday morning and bumped the officer who was manning the roadblock.
