Bridge Dedicated in Honor of Late Brockton, MA State Police Trooper

A bridge was dedicated Tuesday in honor of Sgt. Douglas Weddleton, a longtime state trooper from Brockton who was killed June 16, 2010, when he was struck by a vehicle while working a construction detail on Interstate 95. The bridge named in his honor carries Interstate 495 traffic over Interstate 95 in the town of Mansfield. Weddleton was killed by a suspected drunken driver.
