New Jersey Police Officer Injured When Woman Drives off After Being Awakened at Wheel

A Cranbury woman was jailed and an officer injured after police woke her up and told her to get out of her car Sunday night, but she drove away instead. Christine Favro, 27, hit Patrolman Thomas Behrens with her car after he and other officers found her “unresponsive” in her vehicle at Route 72 and Pinewood Estates at 11:20 p.m. Sunday.
