Ohio Officer Struck and Killed

BOSTON HEIGHTS OHIO -- A Village of Boston Heights police officer was struck and killed by a truck on Rt 8 early Monday morning while clearing debris from the roadway.

Police Officer Jarod Dean, 24 was on the southbound lanes of Rt 8 at 5:30am Monday when he stopped his cruiser on the roadway and activated his flashing lights.  He exited the car to remove debris from the road.  That is when investigators say he was struck by a southbound truck.  See full story as reported by WKYC TV in Cleveland
