Respondersafety.com at NJ 'Move-Over' Law Press Conference
Thursday, March 26, 2009

It was my pleasure as a member of the Emergency Response Safety Institute (ERSI) and the Editor of respondersafety.com, to represent our organization  at the Wednesday March 25 press conference for the new New Jersey Move-Over Law. The ceremony was held at the NJ State Police "B" Troop Headquarters, which is located on the NJ Turnpike at Cranbury.  A number of organizations which assisted in the creation of the new law were present at the ceremony.

Also I encourage you to visit the website www.MoveOverLaw.com and push it out to your respective constituent groups, perhaps even linking to it via your organizations' websites or using the web ready materials on your site.  The more ways we can push out this information the better, so encouraging local first aid squads and fire companies as well as municipal police departments to post flyers in high traffic areas (i.e., post offices, libraries, grocery stores, etc.) would be helpful.  Including the artwork in AAA Club publications and posting it in your offices will also help us reach thousands of motorists.
