TENNESSEE MOVE OVER LAW IGNORED BY MANY DRIVERS
Wednesday, October 24, 2007

Tennessee's move over law is designed to save the lives of those people who save ours. Not every motorist gets the message. Several cars were ignoring the move over law while ambulances and fire trucks were working to clear a wreck.

The vehicles were coming extremely close to rescue workers. When asked about the violators, a police officer said, “We’ve issued a lot of citations for it. We put out bumper stickers. We’ve done everything we could to spread the word.”
