Texas Towing Driver Killed on Interstate 30

The Texas Department of Public Safety reported that Billy Wooten Jr. was hit by an 18-wheeler at the 83 mile marker of eastbound Interstate 30, near the intersection of FM 1565, at around 9:40 p.m. Tuesday. At the time, Wooten was loading a vehicle for a DPS Trooper. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Justice of the Peace Sheila Linden.
