Virginia Trooper Hit in Route 29 Accident Released From Hospital

The state trooper officials say was hit by a car on Route 29 in Amherst County is out of the hospital. Trooper Dan Wilson's supervisor says he was released from Lynchburg General sometime this afternoon and returned to his home in Campbell County. Last Wednesday, Wilson was seriously injured and a Buckingham County man was killed when police say a car plowed into them on Route 29.
