Chief Brunacini Dies Unexpectedly

Retired Phoenix Fire Chief Alan Brunacini who served as a Senior Fire Service Advisor to the CVVFA Emergency Responder Safety Institute died suddenly on Sunday October 15 at the airport in his hometown.
Well known for his advocacy on customer service and firefighter health and safety, he provided a valuable role in promoting highway incident scene safety through ResponderSafety.com and the ResponderSafety Learning Network.
The Chief was one of the most visible and approachable fire service leaders ever to venture on to the national stage. He was an outstanding presenter and his offerings were packed with those who valued his unique style and sense of humor. He will be missed.
