Kentucky: Drunk driver sentenced in death of tow truck driver

A drunk driver who hit and killed a tow truck driver in July 2014 was sentenced to 12 years behind bars. Audible sobs could be heard from both the victim and defendant's families as Paula Oppel was sentenced for the death of Jewan Turner. "Hallelujah! That's all I can say," said Turner's mother, Jenell, who, along with friends and family, filled the courtroom Wednesday. "She took the life of my son and it was a conscious act. And I don't want this for any other mother, fiancé, child, father, friend," said Jenell.
