California: Three firefighters injured in big rig crash released from hospital

Three firefighters were hurt Tuesday night when a big rig slammed into their fire engine have been treated at the hospital for minor injuries and released. The firefighters were just wrapping up on a call to rescue two young crash victims.“They had minor injuries and were sent to Henry Mayo (Newhall) Hospital,” Inspector Joey Marron of the Los Angeles County Fire Department told The Signal Wednesday morning. “They were released from hospital last night.”
