Pennsylvania: State trooper injured in crash on I-95 in Tinicum Twp.

A Pennsylvania State Trooper has been hospitalized following a crash on I-95 in Tinicum Township. The incident happened just after 10:30 a.m. Friday along I-95 southbound near New Bartram Avenue. State police tell Action News that the trooper was investigating a crash when he was struck inside his car. The trooper was trapped in his vehicle and had to be freed by rescuers. He was transported Riddle Hospital for treatment. Authorities say he suffered non life-threatening injuries, and is expected to be released today.  Police say all the vehicles involved in the collision stayed at the scene, and both accidents remain under investigation
