Pennsylvania State Trooper Hit by Car During Traffic Stop

Friday, November 23, 2012

A Pennsylvania State Police trooper was injured Friday morning while making a traffic stop along I-81 in Dauphin County. The trooper had pulled over a tractor-trailer along I-81 near the I-83 split in Lower Paxton Township around 9:30 a.m. Officials said the trooper was talking to the truck driver, when an SUV, driven by Linda Butler, 74, of Harrisburg, crashed into the rear of the tractor trailer, which knocked the truck into the trooper.
