South Carolina: Crash involving fire truck on US 123 in Pickens Co.
A fire truck was involved in a crash on U.S. 123 near Isaquenna Trail Sunday afternoon, according to our crew on the scene. Central Fire Department was working on another accident when it happened. According to our crew, the initial accident involved a car that hit a cable barrier in the median.
Central Fire Department placed the fire truck in the left northbound lane of U.S. 123 to create a safe working area for emergency crews. A pick-up truck struck the back of the fire engine and was totaled, our crew says. Neither the firefighters nor the pick-up truck driver were injured.
