NIOSH Fire Fighter Fatality Investigation Reports for "Motor Vehicle - Struck-by" Incidents

• Massachusetts: Tow Truck Driver Killed on Massachusetts Turnpike

  State police have identified the tow truck operator struck and killed while helping a motorist in the breakdown lane of the Massachusetts Turnpike. Police say 22-year-old Kevin St Pierre of Southbridge was pronounced dead at the scene after he was struck by an eastbound box truck at about 3 p.m. Wednesday near exit 10 in Auburn. • Pennsylvania: Paramedic Struck and Killed

  Janice Livingston, an paramedic with the West End Ambulance Association was responding to a crash when she was struck and killed by a truck. The crash happened just after 9:30 this morning on Route 271 in Upper Yoder Township between Fender Lane and Meadow Drive.
