Wayland Man Faces New Charges in Death of Massachusetts State Police Trooper
William Senne was an 18-year-old Boston College student from Wayland when he hit Massachusetts State Police trooper Ellen Engelhardt's parked police car at high speed in the Route 25 breakdown lane in Wareham in July 2003. He now faces the prospect of another trial, this time for vehicular homicide in Engelhardt's death.
