MEDIA ALERT

Roadway Safety Survey

Please share survey with your members

The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) is conducting a survey to gather data on responder fatalities, injuries, near misses, and struck-by incidents that have occurred during emergency response on our nation's highways. We are looking for information from all agencies that operate on the roadways, including fire, EMS, law enforcement, towing/recovery, and state, local, and regional traffic/transportation management. This data will be shared with other organizations, and help to make the case for better reporting, improved data collection, stronger laws supporting responders, and increased collaboration among all stakeholders.

The NFFF is asking you to please share this information with your membership, via email and social media. Three weeks of suggested social media post are attached.

The survey will be open until December 15th. If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact Tricia Sanborn at tsanborn@firehero.org.
