  • Florida: 'Move Over Law' Means Moving Over for Tow Trucks, Too

Most drivers know to slow down or move over when they see flashing red or blue lights on the side of the road. But what about yellow ones? Tow trucks with their lights on are emergency vehicles, too, so that means that even if police aren't on the scene, drivers still have to move over for tow trucks.

  • I Pledge Allegiance

My friends, it was my pleasure to be attend the 112th Annual Convention of the Cumberland Valley Volunteer Fireman's Association (CVVFA) in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania a couple of weeks ago. My friends and I come together each year to do the important work of the association.

  • Marketing Your Product

I see a great deal among the passing parade which gives me pause to ponder.

  • Things Are Moving Along Well

As we once again approach the fall driving season, it is my honor and pleasure to share some really great news with you. The Cumberland Valley Volunteer Firemen's Association (CVVFA) has received a grant from the Department of Homeland Security.

  • Things Have Been Really Busy

As the weeks pass, I continue to marvel at the fact that we still see police, fire, EMS personnel, and towing people struck, injured, and killed by motor vehicles. What are you and I doing that is wrong? How can we keep missing the mark?

  • A New Year's Message

Here we are at the beginning of another new year. As is my custom, let me offer you my best wishes for a Safe and Happy New Year. Every year it is the same. 2011 was no different. We had the usual array of successes and failures. Our convention team hit a wide array of locations around the country. We met people and offered our advice.
