Pennsylvania: Dance at East Huntingdon VFD to Aid Injured Trooper
Working to clear discarded wooden pallets from Route 119 while on duty in October, Pennsylvania State Trooper George E. Hare Jr. was struck by a vehicle and sustained a multitude of injuries.
Realizing the costs associated with a long-term ailment or disability, members of the community have rallied together to support the trooper and his family. Partial proceeds from the monthly dance that will be held at 9 p.m. Saturday at the East Huntingdon Volunteer Fire Department hall will be donated to the family.
