Pennsylvania: FIREFIGHTER LODD DETAILS-STRUCK BY BACKING APPARATUS

The Hilltop (PA) Volunteer Fire Department along with the McKean County Department of Emergency Services regrets to announce the Line of Duty Death of active Firefighter and former Fire Chief Donald Ishman. Ishman, 60, of Cyclone was one of several firefighters assisting with a Public Service detail yesterday, Saturday, July 23rd when he was struck by fire apparatus backing into the fire station. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Ishman was a 40 year member of the Hilltop Volunteer Fire Department and had served in several leadership roles over the years, including Fire Chief.
