Minnesota: Tow Truck Driver Struck After Loading Vehicle in Wright County

A driver spun out and struck a tow truck, and another vehicle, this (Tuesday) morning in Wright County.

The Minnesota State Patrol says a pick up had just been loaded on to the tow truck when a vehicle being driven by 34-year-old Lori Alberg of Zimmerman hit them.

The drivers of the pick up and tow truck were both standing along side the vehicles. They are 25-year-old Matthew Yurich of Ramsey and 33-year-old Nicholas McElkerry of Albertbville.

The tow truck driver, McElkerry, was brought to Mercy Hospital with non life-threatening injuries. Yurich and Alberg were not hurt.

The incident happened on Highway 101 just after 8:30
