Outrageous - two highway workers hit on consecutive days by alleged drunk drivers in Massachusetts. One has died.  The fatality occurred early today on I-93 north in Medford. Massachusetts State Police said the worker was walking, picking up traffic cones following a line painting operation, when he was hit by the compact car, driven by 31-year-old James Scoville of Chelmsford, at around 2.45 am. Scoville was arrested and charged with motor vehicle homicide while operating under the influence of liquor. The name of the man who was killed has not been made public yet. He worked for Hi-Way Safety Systems, a company that has a pavement marking contract with MassDOT. On Monday, a MassDOT worker was hit by a suspected drunken driver on the Mass Pike. The man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries
