Massachusetts: Massachusetts State Police cruiser struck on Interstate 495
A Massachusetts State Police cruiser was struck by a vehicle early Tuesday in Haverhill.
The crash happened at a construction site on Interstate 495 southbound after exit 50.
The cruiser was struck from behind, officials said.
State Police said the vehicle that struck the cruiser was unable to move over due to another vehicle obstructing his merge.
The trooper complained of back and knee pain and was taken to Holy Family Hospital in Methuen for examination.
No other injuries were report
