Maryland: State Trooper’s Cruiser Struck During Traffic Stop

A Maryland state trooper conducting a traffic stop in Montgomery County was struck in his patrol car by a passing driver early Saturday, becoming the third trooper hit in a month in the Washington area, Maryland State Police said.
