North Carolina: Firefighter Hit by Vehicle While Directing Traffic

The fire department says James Morrison of Wallace Volunteer Fire Department was hit while directing traffic around an 18-wheeler and van crash on Highway 41. He was in front of the Food Lion when he was hit. We do not have the identity of the driver.
