Colorado: State Troopers, Sheriff's Deputy Hit in I-25 Crashes Near Castle Rock

Two Colorado State Patrol vehicles and a Douglas County Sheriff's deputy cruiser were involved Monday morning in two crashes on Interstate 25 near Castle Rock. As weather and road conditions worsened Monday, Sgt. Rob Madden with the Colorado State Patrol said the first crash was reported at 7:19 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-25 near milepost 179, just south of Castle Rock. A trooper and deputy were injured.
