North Carolina: One Dead After Multiple Wrecks on Interstate in Mebane

Cars were backed up for miles on Interstate 40/85 Wednesday from traffic caused by multiple wrecks — including a fatal accident also resulting in injured victims from the State Highway Patrol, Mebane Fire Department and a Greyhound bus. iffany Jennings, 33, of High Point was killed after striking three Mebane Fire Department vehicles on the interstate near mile 154 responding to an earlier wreck.
