(TX)(05-27-2021) Tow Truck Operator Struck & Killed in Hit & Run
The crash happened shortly after 2 a.m. Thursday on the eastbound side of 6500 block of South Padre Island Drive near Airline Drive.
The tow truck driver was exiting out of the tow truck on the right side shoulder lane going eastbound on SPID when the unknown vehicle sideswiped the left side of the tow truck striking 40-year-old Zachary Starbuck who was working for Momento Towing LLC.
