UPPER MACUNGIE TWP., Pa. - A Pennsylvania state police trooper was hurt Thursday while helping the driver of a disabled truck on Interstate 78 in Lehigh County. It happened around 2 p.m. on the eastbound side of the highway, near the Fogelsville interchange. A car, which could be seen on its side, rear-ended the cruiser after the trooper stopped on the side of the highway to help the driver of a tractor-trailer. Police haven't said if the trooper was in or out of the SUV when it was hit.
