Texas: Ft. Worth Firefighter Seriously Injured When Struck by a Vehicle

Texas firefighter was seriously injured when she was struck by a vehicle while at the scene of another accident early Tuesday.

The incident happened just before 6 a.m. along Highway 114 near FM 156 in Fort Worth, KTVT-TV reports. Crews were responding to a crash when another vehicle struck a firefighter.

The firefighter, Shonna Moorman,  was taken to the hospital. Her injuries were not considered life-threatening.

The fire department did not indicate whether the vehicle that struck the firefighter continued on or stopped, according to KTVT.
