Connecticut Trooper's Killer Back in Court

A Westerville man caught driving despite a lifetime ban after killing a state trooper 10 years ago will be free again today after posting $150,000 bond. David K. Dye, 43, was arraigned in Delaware County Common Pleas Court this morning before Judge W. Duncan Whitney for driving under a lifetime suspension, a third-degree felony that calls for at least nine months in prison if convicted. He also faces a minor misdemeanor charge of driving with an open container of alcohol.
