(OH)(07-05-2021) A Tow Truck Operator was Struck & Killed While Loading a Disabled Vehicle
WEST PRICE HILL - A vigil was held Monday night for a tow truck driver who was critically injured when he was hit by a car while on the job in West Price Hill. Glenn Ewing, 32, a AAA tow operator has died from his injuries.
Police say Ewing was on Rapid Run Road by the park Sunday putting a disabled vehicle on his tow truck when he was struck by a Dodge Challenger shortly before midnight. Police say Ewing suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to UC Medical Center. He died on Monday. The driver who hit him suffered minor injuries, according to police.
Police are working to determine if that driver was speeding at the time of the crash.
