Oklahoma: GoFundMe account set up for injured firefighter, struck by vehicle during grass fire

A GoFundMe account has been set up for a Centralia firefighter who was injured while battling grass fires Thursday.

Jeff Mueller was struck by a driver who was commuting through heavy smoke. Mueller was in the middle of the road trying to prevent the fire from jumping Highway 60 and burning a home when he was hit.

The impact fractured Mueller's leg and he was transported to the hospital.

Now, officers of the Centralia Volunteer Fire Department have created the fund to help Mueller get back on his feet.
