I-81: It's a 'Beast Out There'
Paul Snyder has been a member of the Lickdale Community Fire Co. in Union Township, Lebanon County, for 30 years. Now the company's chief, Snyder has responded to his share of crashes and vehicle fires on I-81, which runs just behind the firehouse on Route 72 about nine miles north of Lebanon. Nearby is the merge (or split, depending on which direction you're traveling) with I-78.
