Pennsylvania: Community Rallys to Support Injured Trooper
The local community is showing support for Pennsylvania State Police Trooper George E. Hare Jr., a Mt. Pleasant Township resident who was severely wounded recently in the line of duty. Volunteers of several local organizations, as well as Hare's friends and family, have come together to organize a spaghetti dinner fundraiser, the proceeds of which will be devoted to support him. The event will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Jan. 18 at Roosevelt Hall in Norvelt.
