Ohio: OSHP: Officers in danger when drivers don't slow down, move over

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is trying to get out the message that drivers need to slow down or move over whenever they see flashing lights.An Ohio State Trooper injured when he was struck by a car on an icy interstate highway has been released from the hospital. That includes when a police officer has someone else stopped on the side of the road. Traffic stops can be one of the most dangerous things law enforcement officers do. WLWT News 5’s Andrew Setters spent time on the road today with troopers. Trooper Corey Wright, a 24 year veteran, was running radar on I-275 and several cars didn’t heed the warning and give him enough space to do his work.
