CVVFA Receives FEMA Fire Prevention and Safety Grant For Responder Safety Project
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced today that the CVVFA was awarded a Fire Prevention and Firefighter Safety Grant for $429,048 to continue its work on protecting emergency responders on the highways. The grant funds ResponderSafety.com and the ResponderSafety Learning Network the world’s largest repository of information to protect firefighters and other roadway responders from injury as they work to help others during traffic incidents. The grant will support new direct delivery materials and on line individual training all delivered though the ResponderSafety.com platforms.
